VTU Fest or Shame?

VTU Fest was the venue where more than 2000 young talented, budding engineers had dreams of exhibiting their talent in one of the best platforms they had. It indeed is a platform for which hundreds of students from more than 60 Colleges across Karnataka dream and compete for. It is one prestigious souvenir every hand wants to carry back home (which generally is referred to as college).
This year 66 such colleges had the same dream, when they first entered the lush green, beautiful campus of Host College. But a very few expected that the 4 days of battle which they would want to fight out with their talent, art and creativity would turn out to be such a politicized, unfair, ugly and a rigged affair.
It may sound a bit crazy but the champions didn`t deserve one bit of it. The final day we learnt a lot more than we expected to learn out of a cultural fest, a few are mentioned below:
1. How not to conduct a fest.
2. The way the Host Coll ruined their reputations heeding to someone from the "WINNING" team. (The someone being the real problem creator)
3. How to cheat.

There were good things as well
1. We had some SHERLOCK HOLMES experiences ourself.
2. We learnt how to fight for our rights and fight against injustice
3. We learnt how to stand for/with someone whom you were fighting (in competitive spirits) for 4 days.

One amazing thing was we found the highly confidential list of judges procured for events, their remuneration, and their contact info which can more easily be explained with this comic script.

Judge: How come ra u also staff co-ordinator for your college.

Mr. R: Yes ra thats the game plan, we tried winning for 7 years but this is something i have to do to win.
J: Oho nice, nice. u r good at such things only.

Mr. R: I need judges for it da.
J: i Can come. How much money u give?

Mr. R: 4000 bucks but wat can u do?
J: so less forget it.

Mr. R: u take up all the events in one category.
J: Super u tell me wat to do i`ll do, all u want is ur coll to win na?

Mr. R: Any experience wit lit events?
J: my both daughters fight full day for no reasons, i keep listening to their debate.

Mr. R: Super, u take up all lit events. MAGA i need judge for music events also.
J: Oh, my neighbor full time music only, full day night only music, always listening to HIMESH RESHEMYA, his SISTER your coll only.

Mr. R: Oh super let him judge Music events, i`ll make his sister participate from our coll, let her only win.
J: Let the "BEST" team win.
