Utsav-10 [Post Mortem]

Every year at the end of this mega event you find people who rather than appreciating for the job well done keep condescending about their Last Utsav. It probably is human psychology, and I might end up on the same side, but I am really not sure which one was my LAST UTSAV.

Utsav-07: My Last Utsav with my batchmates.
Utsav-08: My Last Utsav with a few people who kept me in Illuminati.
Utsav-09: My Last Utsav with a few people who respected me and I loved working with.
Utsav-10: My LAST UTSAV.


This leaves me with two options condescend four-times more than anyone else ever or or appreciate the rest of UTSAVs and be an ideal Alumni. Only time and my juniors will judge that.

Utsav`10 faced a lot of un-necessary criticism, and having worked for every Utsav last decade (yeah!:) ) I can defend this episode as the most challenging one with

1. Very stubborn Principal and Management, who were least flexible with dates for Utsav and the facilities being provided. Even on the day of Utsav we weren’t given keys to Illuminati Room, set aside the restrictions over the usage, timings and the number of people using the room.

2. Autonomous Stream are tortured and scared away from such involvement. (But Hats-off to the Campaigning Juniors.

3. Recession with big companies giving haath.

4. Deemed Universities most of the big colleges and potential huge participants have become autonomous, with freedom to conduct exams, most of the big and glamorous (esp Fashion) participants were stuck with exams.

5. And the lack of Unity and Leadership in ILLUMINATI which could keep the teams together and stand up to what they want. (Somewhere I consider myself, my batch-mates, my immediate juniors and their juniors responsible for it)

This Utsav gave me moments to cherish, I don’t want to miss anybody by naming a few, but a few things that will remind me of few wonderful people.

1. Someone too lazy (or too responsible) to walk back 20 mtrs to hostel, sleeping in ILLUMINATI room for one comple month.

2. Someone with a BUCKET LIST and TWO THUMBS UP.

3. Someone being over-burdened, over-tortured, over-accounted and over-HIT ON.

4. An amazing team with your "ROOMMATE", someone ready to jump into your "DEALING" shoes, and creative brilliance "SAMJHE".

5. A guy with a dirty piece of CIG in his ear, and a mission.

6. Someone so brilliant you make them your DHRONACHARYA.

7. Someone you find resonating at your frequency tat you can trust them with your responsibilities.

8. Your street football team and cricket scores in Football.

9. Cracking Paint-ball deal and the Task Race Gang.

10. The gang with a noble cause and one hell of RUNNING FREE.

11. The ACCELERATE TRACK and FREE COCONUT water.

12. Someone you want to be your replacement.

And finally the things that made Utsav`10 the best:
1. STREET DANCE.
2. ACCELERATE
3. RUNNING FREE
4. PAINT BALL
